Run With Wolfes 5K is a fun and inspiring way to join forces in the fight against brain cancer by raising funds for research.

With your support, Run with the Wolfes will make a real difference in the lives of brain tumor patients and their families.  All proceeds from this event benefit the Eric Wolfe Brain Tumor Professorship in Human Oncology to provide funding to an outstanding clinician or scientist to support translational research in the area of brain tumor research at the University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center.

Brain tumors kill more people under the age of 40 than any other cancer, including more children and life expectancy for people with brain tumors has not increased for 40 years.  Up to 40% of all cancers which initiate outside the brain lead to a secondary cancer in the brain.  Brain tumor research is vastly underfunded by private and public support when compared to breast, prostate or lung cancer.

Through generous gifts from individuals and company sponsorships, Run With Wolfes and its sister event Golf Fore Wolfe have raised more than $700,000 in its history. Join hundreds of runners and walkers supporting the brain cancer community on September 15, 2013 to participate in the 4th Annual Run With Wolfes in Menomonee Falls, WI.

Your support gives brain cancer patients and their families the hope of being another step closer to advancing research, determining a successful method of early detection and discovering a cure.
